Jonathan Sheppard Books was established in 1977 and specializes in publishing reprints of large, high-quality 18th and 19th century maps of European and North American areas. In addition to our large selection of reprint maps, we  also stock and catalogue used, rare and out-of-print books for the genealogical researcher and historian as well as decorative original antique maps.

cataloguer.jpg (11722 bytes)Our topical book specialties include: family genealogies printed before 1920, immigration and ethnic history, local and regional history from the 6 New England States, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, local history and genealogy from the British Isles, continental Europe, and eastern Canada.  Note: even though we specialize in northeast regional and local history, we catalogue and stock books about all parts of the United States and Canada.

We also stock an assortment of newly published genealogical reference books, as well as a constantly changing selection of original antique maps and charts suitable for framing and display.
